The non-domestic catering equipment market was estimated to have grown by around 3% and is expected to show modest growth through to 2021.

The popularity of grab-and-go food has led to increasing demand for more compact, multifunctional catering equipment, to maximise performance in smaller venues, which also includes restaurants with challenging kitchen spaces.

The growth in popularity of open-plan restaurant kitchens has also boosted equipment sales, with restaurants investing in re-fits and new appliances to satisfy consumer demand for greater visibility of restaurant kitchens.

A general interest in more energy-efficient products and the demand for fast, high-volumne cooking solutions such as combi-ovens and accelerated cooking ovens.
