Here's something. It's not food related really. Just a reminder to chill out chefs. Enjoy your days off. Spend time with those you love.A recent day off was spent visiting my mother, the evening spent drinking too much prosecco with my wife. A good day indeed. Cooking is great. Being a chef is great. But remember the reasons why we work so hard. Family, friendship, love and life. Chef hard and go home. Make the day matter. If you've ever read my blogs, you'll know what I mean. Too many chefs are leaving it too late to realis that the things they thought were important, dont actually fuckin matter. Your kids, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or whatever. These are way more important than table 6's Scallops. Enjoy the time you have, with the people who really matter.
