Hélène Darroze ‘Chef of the Season’ at Harrods Launches ‘Hélène at Home’ Hélène Darroze, whose Michelin two-starred restaurant at The Connaught, in Mayfair, and starred restaurant in Paris, are two of the most praised culinary establishments, has revealed further details of her distinctive range of dishes to be offered in the Food Hall of Harrods during the festive season, kicking off on 9 November, and running through the end of December 2017.

Harrods has regularly featured distinguished chefs for the two month focus on seasonal signature dishes, with past participants including Tom Kerridge of the Hand & Flowers, and Tom Kitchin from Kitchin in Edinburgh.

This year, Hélène Darroze will introduce a range of her favoured French home dishes, all for takeaway from the Food Halls. Inspired by memories of Christmas and the winter season from her native southwest France, the ‘Hélène at Home’ selection will combine both luxury and humble ingredients, with spectacular results.

The collection of sharing dishes will include canapés, starters, main courses, side dishes, and desserts. The full range is attached, and features options such as Duck sausage roll with black trompette mushrooms; Chicken, foie gras and pistachio pie; Lobster, sweetbread and salsify volau-vent; Pigeon Wellington with foie gras; Potato, celeriac and wild mushroom torte; Tropical Baba with Darroze Armagnac; and Chestnut and blackcurrant tart. Priced individually, the dishes, with appropriate heating and serving instructions, can be collected direct from the Food Hall counters.

Additionally, Hélène will host an exclusive Supper Club restaurant in the Harrods Food Hall for three evenings only on 6, 7 and 8 December. There will be two sittings (7pm and 9pm), where Hélène and her team will host a maximum of 21 customers. The five course tasting menu will be £100 per person (or £150 with wine pairing), and will feature some of Hélène’s all-time favourite dishes, including several from the ‘Hélène at Home’ in-store range.

Chicken and foie gras pie with pistachios, pickled vegetables, grain mustard Chantilly

Native blue lobster on the grill, carrot and confit citrus mousseline, timut pepper reduction with fresh coriander and beurre noisette

Grilled veal rib from Limousin, Jerusalem artichoke puré, black truffle, ‘Vin Jaune d’Arbois’ jus
