Tom Kerridge will be taking over the kitchen at The Elephant in Torquay for a guest chef dinner on Wednesday 7th March.
Head chef Simon Hulstone says “I love Tom’s food and had a fantastic time cooking with him and his team at The Shed last year. He’s an incredibly busy chef so we really appreciate him making the trip down to Torquay. The team can’t wait to cook with him and our guests are in for an absolute treat.”
Guests can look forward to four courses of Tom’s flavour-filled dishes, which elevate pub classics to another level. Tom is a multi-award-winning chef who has reached the final of BBC Two’s Great British Menu twice, cooking the main course in both 2010 and 2011. Now a regular on TV and one of the UK’s most well-loved chefs, Tom is currently sharing delicious yet low-calorie dishes in the programme Lose Weight for Good on BBC Two.
Tom who is chef-owner of The Hand and Flower (the first pub to be awarded two Michelin stars) and with his wife, Beth also owns The Coach at Marlow which secured its first Michelin star in 2017. His third eatery, The Butcher’s Tap (also situated in Marlow) opened in November 2017.
