Working with Lengard Construction, KCCJ were drafted in for this station refurbishment project which included the installation of a small café for the provision of snacks and light refreshments. This refurbishment project for Sevenoaks District Council saw KCCJ develop both a small prep kitchen in addition to FOH servery works.
With the original design coming from our own in-house consultancy division, this project entailed providing a prep kitchen, with electric cooking facilities, along with a back bar counter and servery counter. Additional items such as handle-less doors were supplied, also the likes of integrating roller shutter supports fitted into our back counter to keep the uniform aesthetics of the project.
The cafe was installed over a two-stage period to run in conjunction with the site programme. A further visit was required to commission once all services had been connected. The Bat and Ball Station Café was delivered on time and on budget.
