Blend Family, the creative collective behind some of the UK’s most progressive food halls, has announced plans for a new site at Victoria Centre, Nottingham. Located within the popular Clocktower dining quarter at Victoria Centre, Clocktower Works will be a boundary-pushing and immersive concept which will form an exciting part of the centre’s next phase of growth and investment.

Set to open Summer 2026, the new 17,500 sq ft destination will feature 14 independent Food Partners, as well as a Bar and Coffee Shop, bringing together bold concepts and diverse culinary experiences under one roof in the heart of the city. Designed as a platform for originality, collaboration, and sustainable growth, Clocktower Works will continue Blend Family’s commitment to curating spaces where independent culinary innovators can grow and thrive long term.

Known for nurturing talent and fostering meaningful, lasting partnerships, Blend Family offers more than just a space. Their unique approach provides Food Partners with the infrastructure, guidance, and community required to scale sustainably while maintaining creative independence.

Matt Bigland, Co-founder of Blend Family, said: “This is an opportunity to become part of a growing network that champions diversity, creativity, quality, and community to help shape Nottingham’s next landmark food destination. At Blend Family, we don’t just provide a space, we work alongside our Food Partners to develop strong, individual brands that can thrive both within our sites and beyond.”

Victoria Centre, East Midland’s number one retail and dining destination, welcomes millions of visitors each year. Located at the heart of the city, it sits at the intersection of Nottingham’s retail, cultural, and transport hubs, attracting a diverse audience of locals, students, and shoppers. Home to leading national brands, and dining destinations, Victoria Centre plays a central community role in the city. This establishes Blend Family’s innovative, community-led concept that brings people together through food, culture, and creativity.

Rebecca Milnes-James, Asset Manager at Pradera Lateral said: “The arrival of Blend Family marks a major milestone in our strategy to differentiate and elevate Victoria Centre’s F&B offer. Our focus is on creating a dynamic, experience-led destination that attracts a diverse audience and reinforces the centre’s role at the heart of the city. Blend’s scale, ambition and community-first approach will elevate Clocktower Works and make a significant contribution to Nottingham’s wider day to evening economy.”

Clocktower Works will join Blend Family’s expanding portfolio of award-winning food halls, including Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT in Salford Quays, Tower Bridge Collective in London, and the upcoming Alfred Works in Digbeth, Birmingham.

Victoria Centre, owned by SGS UK Retail, is asset managed by Pradera Lateral. The leasing agents for this deal were Metis Real Estate Advisors.
