Coup de Pates’ Macaroon Shells Voted as One of The Ten Best New Products in Hospitality

A product taken from Coup de Pates’ chef-focused semi-prepared range has been chosen as one of the ten best new products in Hospitality for 2015.

The company’s versatile and delicious Vanilla Macaroon Shells have been recognised in The Hospitality Show’s brand new Star Product Awards scheme, where they were whittled down from scores of entries from show exhibitors.

Created and honed by Coup de Pates’ team of specialist chefs, and introduced in late 2014 as part of a raft of new high-end products, the 75mm vanilla flavoured shells are supplied frozen yet can be ready to fill and decorate in a matter of minutes. As with the company’s entire semi-prepared range, the shells act as a pre-made base that enables time-poor chefs to create and personalise, while offering the quality, consistency and presentation standards that their diners demand.

Mariam French, Head of Marketing, UK, Coup de Pates, says: “Coup de Pates prides itself on offering innovative products that work harder for chefs, helping them to achieve excellence every time. We’re delighted, therefore, that our new Macaroon Shells have been honoured by the Hospitality Show Star Product Awards judges – it’s great to know we have produced one of the ten best new products setting the agenda for 2015.”

Coup de Pates’ entire 40-strong, semi prepared range will be on show for visitors to see and sample throughout the three-day event (Stand 1240) where it is also principal sponsor of fine dining team challenge, La Parade de Chefs. The Hospitality Show will also be the company’s first live outing under the Coup de Pates name following its rebrand from Delice de France.
Coup de Pates had traditionally been positioned as a specialist, chef-led sister brand to Delice de France, with both falling under the umbrella of parent company Aryzta Food Solutions.
The two will now merge and rebrand as Coup de Pates, resulting in even more exclusive products being made available to UK chefs alongside the existing range.
Mariam adds: “We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and showing them the breadth of our innovative new ranges – a hearty mix of award winners, time savers, and serious menu makers. For Coup de Pates, the New Year ushers in a new look and a renewed chef focus. In 2015 quality has a new name and we can’t wait to get started.”
