Discover the London residents' club using Lightspeed to drive growth

The Other House is a residents’ club like no other, where guests are invited to stay the night, the month, the year or more. CEO and Founder Naomi Heaton spotted a gap in the market for luxury apartment-style living with hotel services and private club facilities–a 24/7 gym, vitality pool, and bar to name just a few.

The Other House already had MEWS as its PMS, and needed an ePOS that integrated smoothly with it. “One of the main reasons we went for Lightspeed was its open API. We've developed an app and Lightspeed allows us to integrate that app smoothly with not only Lightspeed, but obviously then the data traveling onto our PMS.” said Ashley Slinger, Senior Finance Manager.

For the staff working on the ground, Lightspeed has created a more streamlined operation.

“The thing I like most about Lightspeed is being able to have a portable ePOS system. We can send messages to the kitchen, to the bar, to the waiters who are working on the floor. It makes a much more streamlined service and a much better guest experience.” explained Adrian Vipond, Assistant Bar Manager.

For the finance team, Lightspeed Payments saves them hours that would have previously been spent on reconciliation.

“We use Lightspeed Payments, which for us as a finance team has really streamlined what we do. We don’t have to spend hours and hours reconciling revenue and payments–it’s done.”
