Essential Cuisine are set to renew the exclusive sponsorship of The Staff Canteen’s Heroes of the Hotplate feature – the highly popular, in-depth profile series featuring some of the world’s best, burgeoning kitchen talents.
We have once again linked up with the leading chef site – ranked fourth highest in the category of chefs’ favourite social networks behind only Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn – to bring unrivalled, behind-the-scenes access to some of the most talented chefs working today. Just some of the names featured in 2013 include: Le Gavroche head chef, Rachel Humphrey, Fabrice Uhryn of The Waterside Inn, Andrew Walsh, executive chef of Jason Atherton’s Esquina, Singapore, and Tom Kerridge’s entire back-of house brigade at The Hand and Flowers. The 2014 series is set to profile yet more heroes and their teams, with a host of top chefs and glittering establishments in the spotlight.
Essential Cuisine Managing Director, Nigel Crane said: “The Staff Canteen shares our ethos – made by chefs for chefs – so it is with tremendous excitement that we are renewing our partnership for 2014. Heroes of the Hotplate profiles the hardworking and searingly talented individuals upon which the good names of their chosen establishments thrive. Features like this not only give these heroes the limelight they deserve, it also acts as a source of inspiration to other chefs that hard work and dedication to your craft begets rewards. We can’t wait to reveal the 2014 line up.”
