The Search Begins for Teamwork Challenge at Hotelympia 2014

We are once again calling on chefs to enter the unique Teamwork in the Kitchen Challenge taking place during the world’s premier culinary competition, Salon Culinaire 2014.
The dual-entrant contest invites junior chefs (under 23) to pair with experienced fellow chefs from the same brigade. To succeed, teams of two must work in tandem to create inspiring meat, fish and vegetarian main courses using The Stock People’s premium quality stocks, jus, gravy, demi-glace and glaces.
Managing Director, Nigel Crane said: “The best brigades rely on teamwork to ensure service goes with a swing, that’s why we’ve devised this unique two-person challenge as a showcase for some of the most hardworking kitchen units in the UK. The mix of youth and experience adds another fascinating dimension to the competition – we’re calling on chefs, young and old, to join forces and register their interest today.”
The Teamwork in the Kitchen Challenge will take place on the morning of Tuesday 29th April, 2014 at Salon Culinaire, part of Hotelympia 2014 (28th April – 1st May, Excel, London). We will be exhibiting throughout the four days of Hotelympia (stand 4925). The team will be out in force to demonstrate how the convenient and highly versatile range can save chefs both time and money, enabling them to focus on the final dish.
