The Elephant Exchange Food Hall opens on Thursday 12 November, with a week of launch offers for families and local workers, including Kids Eat Free and bottomless tea and coffee for those working from the venue every day during opening week
London’s Elephant & Castle is getting a new food and drink destination this November, and there’s plenty to tempt locals through the doors. The Elephant Exchange Food Hall, the latest opening from hospitality group Blend Family, will welcome its first visitors on Thursday 12 November, with a week of special offers to celebrate.
Families can enjoy Kids Eat Free throughout the first week, including the weekend, while anyone looking to escape the home office can take advantage of bottomless tea and coffee throughout launch week. Whether it’s a family meal, a catch-up with friends, or a change of scenery for the working day, the new food hall invites the local community to come in and give it a try.
Located within the landmark Elephant Exchange development, the venue will bring together a line-up of independent food businesses, alongside a central bar and coffee shop. Visitors will be able to explore a range of cuisines under one roof, with a mix of food and drink options designed to suit different tastes and occasions.
Matt Bigland, Co-founder of Blend Family, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring The Elephant Exchange Food Hall to life and officially welcome people through the doors. Elephant & Castle is such a vibrant and diverse part of London, and we want the food hall to reflect that by creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re coming in for a family meal, catching up with friends or settling in with a hot drink while they work.
“We wanted to make the opening week feel like a real celebration of the local community. With Kids Eat Free throughout the first week, including the weekend, and bottomless coffee for those working from the food hall, we’re looking forward to welcoming people in and giving them a taste of what Blend Family food halls are all about.”
The Elephant Exchange Food Hall is the latest addition to Blend Family’s growing collection of food halls across the UK, which includes Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT in Salford Quays, Tower Bridge Collective in London and Alfred Works in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Blend Family specialises in bringing independent food businesses together in shared spaces, giving visitors the chance to discover different operators while creating places to eat, drink and spend time.
