Highlighting the Value of Teamwork at Hotelympia 2014

Our team are set to give Hotelympia visitors the first full experience of our brand new campaign when we return to London’s Excel 28th April – 1st May 2014.

Visitors to stand 4925 will be able to find out more about the campaign, ‘Proud to be one of the Team’ while the chef challenge, ‘Teamwork in the Kitchen’ is set to take the world class culinary competition, Salon Culinaire by storm.

Nigel Crane explains: “So many brands in foodservice are great at lauding individual chefs while fewer recognise the skill of a whole team. Teamwork is instrumental in the success or failure of a kitchen and the Essential Cuisine stock pot is an indispensible part of these family units. The new campaign focus has led us to devise the unique two-person challenge at Salon Culinaire as a showcase for some of the most hardworking kitchen units in the UK. We’re greatly looking forward to seeing these teams do battle.”

Taking place on the morning of Tuesday 29th April – day two of Hotelympia – our ‘Teamwork in the Kitchen Challenge’ invites junior chefs (under 23) to pair with experienced fellow chefs from the same brigade. To succeed, teams of two must work in tandem to create inspiring meat, fish and vegetarian main courses using The Stock People’s premium quality range. Chef pairs interested in signing up for the challenge can click here for full information, including rules and judging criteria.

Our team of Stock People will be out in force throughout the four-days of Hotelympia demonstrating how the company’s convenient and highly versatile range can save fellow chefs both time and money, enabling them to focus on the final dish.
