Major Series Final to be held at the Wessex Salon Culinaire

Your chance has come to enter one of the Largest LIVE Culinary Competitions and be a part of something extremely rewarding.  Major have sponsored four events at this years Wessex Salon Cullinare to be held at Brockenhurst College and will be showcasing the country’s rising culinary stars in a range of competitions spanning over 3rd and 4th April.
Due to the horrible weather conditions in early February, the Major Series final had to be postponed from Hospitality to later in the year.  It is now conifrmed that it will be judged next week and we cant wait to see what the competitors have in store!!!
Located in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Brockenhurst is one of the country's top colleges and has been awarded the prestigious Beacon College status for excellence and innovation in further education and ranked 'outstanding' by Ofsted. The College offers superb facilities and its students achieve excellent results.
The popular event, which is held in association with The Craft Guild of Chefs, has grown in stature over the years and is a fantastic platform for all chefs but especially student chefs to get a first taste of competition experience.
The Major competitions include the Major Soup Challenge in the Live Hot Category - using Major Stock bases, Sauce the protein - using Major products onto a cooked chicken breast and salmon supreme, Vegan Starter - using Majors Mushroom, Light Vegetable or Med Vegetable stock bases and the Petis Fours competition using 3 of Majors versatile Fruit Bases.
It looks to be a really exciting two days with some of the industries most influential people in attendance.
Good luck to all those taking part!
