Muse presents a line up of chefs at the top of their gastronomic game joining Tom in the kitchen, each for a one-off four hands dinner to kick start 2024 with culinary flair, and presenting the last of the line up in our current Muse Masters series.  On Tuesday 30th January, we welcome Issac McHale, Chef Patron of the Clove Club (voted 38th in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023)  Isaac says: “My time in the kitchen at Elystan Street (almost 22 years ago) was one of the most formative parts of my kitchen experience. I can't wait to cook alongside Tom again at Muse, it's going to be lots of fun.”  Alberto Landgraf of two-Michelin-starred Oteque in Brazil follows on Tuesday 6th February and says “Tom Aikens is an icon and someone who has helped build a generation of great chefs we have in the industry today. Tom was the chef everyone wanted to work with, and I remember to this day when I secured a job joining his kitchen team. Cooking alongside Tom 23 years ago gave me the fulfilment of a career I am proud of which would not have been possible without his guidance.” On the series Aikens notes: “I am truly excited to be cooking once more with such amazing chefs, we are all still very close to each other and I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them in what they have achieved."  The eight-course dinners will be priced at £220 with a wine pairing available for £130, alongside the full Muse wine list. 10% of net revenue from each Muse Masters dinner will be donated to Only A Pavement Away, a charity founded by representatives from the hospitality industry to support people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans struggling to get into work, finding them jobs within the industry.  Tom book, visit www.musebytomaikens.co.uk

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
