The founders of Yardbirds and Pietanic will unveil a brand-new burger concept on Friday 8 May
Independent food and drink destination Society Birmingham is turning up the heat this week as Bostin Burgers, a brand-new, Birmingham-born burger concept from the team behind street food favourites Yardbirds and Pietanic, joins its line-up of traders.
To celebrate the launch on Friday 8 May, the Bostin Burgers team will be giving away 50 free burgers to the first customers through the doors, offering an exclusive first taste of the new concept.
Founded by Alex Smith and Jay Jones, Bostin Burgers will serve a focused, stripped-back menu of expertly executed burgers, allowing top quality ingredients to take centre stage. The menu features award-winning, 30-day dry-aged beef sourced from the top 1% of British cattle.
Leading the lineup is the signature Bostin Burger, stacked with premium beef, American cheese, pickles, fresh onions and the brand’s signature Bostin sauce. Alongside it, a rotating menu of weekly specials will keep things fresh and give customers a reason to return.
With over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, the duo have built a loyal following of fried chicken and pie fans across Birmingham and beyond. From humble beginnings at Digbeth Dining Club to pop ups at Glastonbury and in Rome, their concepts have become firm favourites on the UK street food circuit.
Bostin Burgers will join Society Birmingham’s growing mix of independent traders, including Asha’s Streetfood, Manzoku, Amore Pizza and Shokupan.
Jay Jones, Co-founder of Bostin Burgers, said: “We’ve been part of the street food scene for a long time with our other concepts, and Bostin Burgers is about bringing everything we’ve learned into something simple, done properly. For us, it’s all about top quality ingredients and big flavour, no overcomplicating it.
Society Birmingham is the perfect place to launch. Food halls are all about sharing great food and good company, and we’re excited to be part of what’s been built here and to serve up what we believe are the best burgers in Birmingham. See you on the 8th for 50 free burgers on us.”
Nick Gregory, Founder of Society Birmingham, said: “Bostin Burgers brings something really special to Society Birmingham. We love its focus on quality while keeping things relaxed and accessible; that’s exactly what we’re all about. We’re excited to see them become a firm favourite here.”
Having opened at One Colmore Square in September, Society Birmingham has quickly established itself as a key destination on the city’s independent food and drink scene. Home to a curated line-up of street food traders and one of the city’s largest bars, with 40 beers on tap alongside cocktails and a strong wine list, Society offers a relaxed, social dining experience, complete with DJs and a lively atmosphere.
