Our powdered stocks, including Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Vegetable and Veal varieties, have been recognised with a combined eight stars in the recent Guild of Fine Food âGreat Taste Awardsâ â the Oscars of the food world.
Chosen by a panel of over 400 judges, including specially trained food writers, the British-produced stocks boast a superior balance of flavours and offer the taste of kitchen-made in minutes rather than hours. Three of the five winners (Chicken, Lamb and Beef stock, respectively) were awarded as âOutstandingâ with two stars, while the companyâs Vegetable and Veal flavours were given one star each and described as: âSimply Deliciousâ.

Chefs now have an even greater quality assurance to pass onto their diners. Indeed, these stars were awarded by their own customers, and thereâs no greater praise than that.â
Alongside recognition from the Guild of Fine Food, Essential Cuisine stocks have also been accredited by the Craft Guild of Chefs â the UKs foremost chef association.
With The Great Taste Award being retail focused, judges sampled from Essential Cuisineâs smaller retail pots, as opposed to the companyâs kitchen-ready foodservice pots.
