A specialist catering and events firm has beaten the competition once again to become an official partner for Sea Life Brighton, expanding on its presence in the seaside resort.
Seasoned won a competitive bidding process based on its exceptional food, impeccable service and commitment to using local small producers from around the region.
The organisation celebrated the contract with a soft launch, inviting local industry colleagues and dignitaries including Brighton and Hove mayor Alan Robins to a showcase of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and innovative Michelin-inspired menus.
Mayor Robins called the win an important addition to the venue and key to attracting more conferences and delegates to the area.
Matt Worthington, Event Director, Merlin Entertainments, said: “We are pleased to partner with the team at Crown Partnership to launch a unique and exciting new event space for the Brighton event market, within the world’s oldest aquarium, SEA LIFE Brighton. We look forward to supporting Graham and his team in developing this new venue.”
Seasoned will officially launch its partnership with Sea Life Brighton in May, during which staff from both organisations will take part in a clean-up of Brighton’s world-famous white sand beach.
Seasoned Managing Partner Venues, Graham Turner, said: “We pride ourselves on our track record of delivering exceptional food and impeccable service based on fresh, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. We are thrilled to be joining forces with Sea Life Brighton, which is the oldest aquarium in the world, and look forward to a successful relationship.”
The organisation’s first booking at the aquarium will be a celebration and networking event for a nationwide law firm.
The aquarium contract builds on Seasoned’s presence in the city. Last year it secured a seven-year contract to continue providing sustainable food and beverage services for the conference and exhibition venue the Brighton Centre.
Seasoned is part of the Crown Partnership, a portfolio of events, hospitality and catering providers, committed to environmental sustainability with an emphasis on innovation and an appetite for success.
Headquartered in Essex, with sites across London but working nationally, the pioneering collaboration works by devolving autonomy to its component parts to foster entrepreneurship, while providing access to centralised functions and support.
