Steve Love to join the line up at The Staff Canteen Live

Steve will be joining us for The Staff Canteen Live at 12:30 on Monday, January 19. We are extremely excited to welcome one of Birmingham’s finest chefs to join us for the occasion.

Chef Patron and Owner of Loves Restaurant, 3 AA Rosettes

Steve Love runs Loves, his three AA rosette restaurant in Birmingham. Steve trained at Stratford College, before working at the Ettington Park Hotel, where he won the prestigious Roux Scholarship. The prize was a Stage at Alain Ducasse’s 3 Michelin starred Paris restaurant, where Steve realised the greatest food was about sourcing the best possible ingredients and treating them with care. Returning from Paris, he took a position working alongside Gary Jones at Waldo’s Restaurant in Clivedon. He was then head chef at Mallory Court in Leamington Spa, where he met his wife Claire, and they opened the first Loves Restaurant in the town in 2001. Here he won National Chef of the Year for Great Britain. He ran the restaurant from 2001 to 2005, when he moved on to the College Arms in Straford-upon-Avon and was then head chef of the Cotswold House hotel in 2007, which he left in 2009 to open Loves.
