Torquay chef earns prestigious national recognition

Rehan Uddin's Indi-Yang restaurant in Belgrave Road, Torquay, has been listed in the prestigious National British Curry Guide 2025.

Rehan’s work continues to gain national recognition, with regular appearances at culinary demonstrations and industry panels, including upcoming cooking showcases at Manchester’s AJ Bell Stadium and the Hilton Glasgow later this year.

Beyond his success with Indi-Yang, Rehan is also the CEO of the Asian Restaurant Owners Network, representing over 3,000 restaurants nationwide, and a RATIONAL brand ambassador.

As the hospitality sector navigates the economic landscape of 2025, he is at the forefront of guiding restaurant owners towards sustainability and efficiency—utilising cutting-edge kitchen technology as the Rational Ambassador for Asian Cooking.

The national accolade is a testament to the dedication and innovation of Rehan Uddin, a Torquay-born chef who has been championing Asian cuisine and flying the flag for Torbay across the country.

Come along to Rehan’s live demonstration on the RATIONAL stand at the upcoming HRC tradeshow in March. He'll be showcasing his unique style of cooking using the iVario Pro and iCombi Pro - not one to be missed! : www.rational-online.com/en_gb/lp/hrc-registration/
