About the book:

Globally acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco will release his latest cookbook Mirazur, Under the Sign of
the Moon in the UK on 9th May, offering readers an insight into the pioneering lunar-led
gastronomy and biodynamic gardening practices at the heart of his celebrated, three
Michelin-starred restaurant Mirazur.
The book explores Mauro Colagreco’s groundbreaking sustainability-led food philosophies, which
are exemplified by the biodynamic gardening and farming ethos that is practiced on-site at Mirazur.
Located in Menton, southern France, the restaurant was ranked at number 1 at the World’s 50 Best
Restaurants awards in 2019, and is home to a farming project that includes five vegetable gardens,
spanning over five hectares, cultivated on permaculture and biodynamic principles.
Mirazur, Under the Sign of the Moon introduces readers to Colagreco’s world through more than 60
recipes from the restaurant’s Mirazur Universe menu, and Mauro’s personal reflections. At Mirazur,
Mauro and his team work with – rather than against – nature to create a sustainable agricultural
ecosystem in its gardens, where produce is planted and harvested in line with the lunar calendar.
