Craig, sous chef at the Royal Oak Paley Street is the eleventh winner of MasterChef: The Professionals. With the title, Craig joins a long list of previous winners which include Derek Johnstone; Steve Groves; Claire Lara; Ash Mair, joint winners Keri Moss and Anton Piotrowski; Steven Edwards; Jamie Scott, Mark Stinchcombe and last year’s winner, Gary Maclean.

The final week saw Craig compete against fellow competitors, Louisa Ellis, senior chef de partie, The Wilderness; Steven Lickley, sous chef for Vacherin London and Jamie Park, head chef of the Frog. Craig's determination, technical ability and imagination led the chef to victory in the final week. Throughout his journey, Craig had received outstanding praise from all three judges.
His challenges throughout the competition included: creating and delivering a Michelin-standard dish for 23 gastronomical giants from around the world with the others in the Final Four; and, as part of the Final Three, travelling to the South of France to learn in the supremely innovative two-Michelin starred kitchens of the fourth best restaurant in the world - Mirazur - from inspirational Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco.
The final task was to create an exceptional three-course meal for judges Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace, in three hours.
