André Garrett named culinary director at Claude Bosi Group

Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi has announced the appointment of acclaimed chef André Garrett as Culinary Director across his growing restaurant portfolio.

Andre, a celebrated figure in modern French cuisine, will first take the reins at Josephine Bouchon, Claude's Lyonnaise-style restaurant in Marylebone.

He trained at City of Bath College and began his early career at Hunstrete House Hotel before moving to London to work under culinary figures like Nico Ladenis at Simply Nico, Nico Central and the three-Michelin-star Chez Nico at 90 Park Lane.

He is widely respected for his tenures at top-level kitchens including Galvin at Windows, Cliveden House, and most recently Corinthia London as an executive chef.

The announcement signals a strategic expansion of culinary talent under the Bosi umbrella, pairing Andre's refined, classical skillset with the trusted leadership of executive chef Claudio Illuminati, executive pastry chef James Warley, and Lucy Bosi, who continues to support operations across the group.

A post on social media read: "We’re excited to share that Andre Garrett is joining our team as culinary director. He’ll be teaming up with  my executive chef and Jamie Warley Executive Pastry. Lucy Bosi and I have known Andre for a long time and followed his career. His French culinary expertise will be a massive asset to our business, and we look forward to working together.”

Andre will begin his new role by heading up the kitchen at Josephine Bouchon, with Connor Jack Twomey stepping in as head chef.

The restaurant, which opened in late 2023, has been praised for its warm, unpretentious atmosphere and faithful reinterpretation of classic Lyonnaise dishes - a natural fit for Garrett’s elegant, produce-led style.
