Karl O'Dell is the head chef of Michelin-starred Texture in London

Originally from Peterborough, Karl is a keen competitor. Most recently, he triumphed over thirty-two chefs by reaching the finals in The Craft Guild of Chefs' National Chef of the Year 2020 competition.

Before his role as head chef at Texture, Karl worked at some of the UK’s best restaurants, including award-winning Pétrus.

As he works closely chef-owner of Texture, Agnar Sverrisson, Karl's style of cooking has lots of Scandinavian influences and makes use of local produce.
