Andrew Tuck, Head Chef of St Kew Inn, is one of four chefs competing for the South on Great British Menu 2023.

Series 18 of the competition starts on January 31 2023 on BBC Two at 8pm and will air for eight weeks.

Andrew is going head to head with chefs Nick Beardshaw, Charlotte Vincent and Amber Francis in a bid to represent the South West in the regional finals, and ultimately cook a dish at the final banquet.

Biography

Andrew is Head Chef of the St Kew Inn, Cornwall and is responsible for delivering a highly creative menu featuring the best locally sourced produce and ingredients from around Cornwall and the South West. 

Before taking the head chef role at St Kew Inn, Andrew worked with the likes of of Lenox Hastie, Simon Stallard and Ben Quinn, and featured in the second series of Rick Stein's Cornwall TV programme.

Andrew is well known for his love of cooking on an open fire and creating amazing flavour combinations, often showcasing his passion for food and flavour by cooking over fire in his own individual style.

ST Kew Inn

St Kew Inn is an award-winning pub nestled in the parish of St Kew.

Housed in a 15th century building, the pub retains many of the original features including a glorious open fireplace, priding itself on the choice and quality of food all prepared in its renowned kitchen. The St Kew Inn offers guests a superb selection of delicious dishes may be eaten in one of the Inns four dining areas.

The pub has featured in the 2022 Michelin Guide and was ranked 36 on Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastro Pubs gaining critical acclaim from locals and destination diners.
