Marco Pierre White reveals plans to open a Steakhouse Bar & Grill this summer at The Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire. Marco Pierre WhiteThe new restaurant will offer a range of contemporary British classic dishes and is expected to open this August, after a £310,000 renovation of the hotel’s restaurant. Nick Taplin, owner and CEO of Black and White Hospitality, said: "We are keen to expand the presence of the MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill but we are highly selective about choosing the right partner – The Hotel Collection was the perfect fit. "The Hinckley Island Hotel is a quality, contemporary hotel and a fantastic location for MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill. We can't wait to work with the hotel's team to deliver a venue that the local community and guests return to time and again and are looking forward to starting work on site in early July.” The Hinckley Island Hotel has 362 bedrooms and is located just off the M69 motorway between Leicester and Coventry, which makes it a popular choice for conference organisers and business travellers. Being close to tourist attractions such as Bosworth Battlefield, the National Space Centre and Twycross Zoo also means that it is also a popular choice for leisure guests. The new 180-seat restaurant will be operated under a franchise agreement with Black and White Hospitality, owners of the master franchise, with Marco Pierre White for the Steakhouse Bar & Grill brand.c700x420 Tony Hill, executive general manager at The Hinckley Island Hotel, said: “The opening of the MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill is a clear statement of intent regarding our ambition for The Hinckley Island Hotel to become the leading conference venue in the Midlands.
