Martin Morales to host charity dinner at Arros QD

The Staff Canteen

Peruvian chef, restaurateur and charity leader Martin Morales is set to return to the kitchen after six years for a unique dining fundraiser in London this autumn AT ARROS QD.

Together with Eduardo Idrobo, executive chef of Arros QD, Martín will present “The Imagination Journey” - a one-night-only culinary experience on October 7th.

Located in London’s Fitzrovia, Arros QD is the London flagship of Quique Dacosta, one of the world’s greatest chefs and holder of seven Michelin stars".

The Imagination Journey

Hosted by Andi Oliver and Martin Morales, The Imagination Journey will bring together two culinary pioneers for a purpose-driven night of food, storytelling and creativity. The event will raise vital funds for the Institute of Imagination (iOi), the children’s charity founded by Martin, which empowers underserved children through creativity and play.

Together, the chefs will design a five-course menu that reimagines 500 years of culinary exchange between Peru and Spain - this time through collaboration, not conquest. The immersive experience will include live cooking demonstrations, interactive storytelling, and performances woven into both lunch and dinner services.

Two Culinary Pioneers

Quique holds seven Michelin stars across his restaurants in Spain. Revered for turning haute cuisine into an art form, he has earned recognition as one of the world’s leading chefs, with his flagship in Dénia regularly featured on The World’s 50 Best list. In London, his restaurant Arros QD is known for its theatrical fire cooking and signature Valencian paellas.

Martin first made his name with the acclaimed restaurants Ceviche and Andina, introducing the UK to modern Peruvian food. His bestselling cookbooks, Sunday Times awards, and recognition as GQ Food & Drink Innovator of the Year cemented his reputation as a cultural force in hospitality. Today, he serves as CEO of the Institute of Imagination, which has already helped over 100,000 children unlock their creative potential.

Martin added: "Leaving Ceviche broke my heart. But seeing children grow up without the freedom to imagine breaks it more. At the iOi, we’ve helped 100,000 children unlock creativity. Now, with Quique, I’m stepping back into the kitchen to raise hope and vital funds.”
