Mayfair Pizza Co. features new Bloody Mary Pizzas

The Staff Canteen
Mayfair Pizza Co. Mayfair Pizza Co. is a popular place to get Pizzas in Lancashire Court, Mayfair, famous for its classic and sweet pizzas. Mayfair Pizza Co. is now launching a new kind of pizza: The Bloody Pizzas; using ingredients of the famous Bloody Mary cocktail. The Bloody Pizzas, which is the Bloody Mary Pizza, the Bloody Superfood Pizza and the Bloody BBQ Pizza, are available at weekends (Friday-Sunday). The Bloody Mary Pizza consists of cherry tomatoes, celery leaf, wild rocket and a tomato base made from a shot of Belvedere Bloody Mary Vodka, Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce, Horseradish, celery salt and smoked peppercorns. Even the base contains a shot of vodka! Bloody BBQ Pizza The Bloody Superfood Pizza has linseed, sunflower seed, avocado, red and black radish, butternut squash, beetroot and buffalo mozzarella as toppings. On top of that you can find a soft boiled egg and a Bloody Mary glaze. The Bloody BBQ Pizza is laden with lashings of tender BBQ pulled pork, the Bloody Mary tomato sauce (as in the Bloody Mary Pizza), smoked beef brisket, slow-roasted cherry tomatoes, pearl onions and smoked pancetta infused with vodka. It is topped with mozzarella, shallot rings and a sweet chilli dressing. Mayfair Pizza Co. also bakes normal pizzas though. You can find all classics, such as Margherita, Quattro Formaggi, Prosciutto & Rocket and Salami Pizza. The sweet pizzas are very original as well: Strawberry pizza with white chocolate and basil, Nutella Canzone and Apple & Raspberry Crumble. But classics such as Tiramisu and Panna Cotta are available, too. Pizzas at Mayfair Pizza Co. The pizzas are cooked from an open plan kitchen in a rustic pizza oven, so guests can watch the chefs prepare the pizzas. The special pizzas are created by Executive Chef Michael Lecouteur. Lecouteur was born in Gloucester and studied Hospitality and Catering at Gloucester College. 2006 he became Head Chef at the Forbury Hotel in Reading, 2008 at Beales Hotel, 2009 at Aruba in Bournemouth, 2011 at Smiths of Smithfield in London and 2013 at Bird of Smithfield in London. In August 2013 Lecouteur became Head Chef at Mews of Mayfair. The creative chef is responsible for the whole of Mews of Mayfair, which consists of Mayfair Pizza Co., La Vace and Cartizze.
