Michelin Guide South Australia 2027: full list of Michelin restaurants
The first Michelin Guide South Australia has been revealed, with 77 restaurants across the state recognised in Australia's first ever Michelin selection. Here is the full list.
The inaugural Michelin Guide South Australia was unveiled at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, making South Australia the first Australian destination to feature in the guide.
The selection covers Adelaide and the state's food and wine regions, from the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley to McLaren Vale, the Clare Valley and Kangaroo Island.
It includes one two-star restaurant, ten one-star restaurants, 16 Bib Gourmands and 50 Michelin Selected restaurants. There are no three-star restaurants in the first edition.
Michelin inspectors dine anonymously and judge every restaurant on the same five criteria: the quality of the ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavours, the personality of the chef expressed through the cuisine, and consistency.
