More Essential Cuisine Heroes In 2013

The Staff Canteen
We are delighted to announce that Essential Cuisine, The Stock Specialist, will partner The Staff Canteen for the Heroes of the Hotplate feature extending their valued support through 2013. The Staff Canteen Heroes of the Hotplate celebrates those talented industry chefs, who work under many of the UK leading chefs and industry champions, they are the “names under the names”. 2012 saw many of the UK’s best chefs featured, the Chefs included Paul Hood from Jason Atherton at Pollen Street Social, Scott Fricker from Midsummer House, Andy Tomlinson from Simon Rogan’s Roganic and many, many more talented Heroes. In 2013, with the support of Essential Cuisine, we’ll see the feature expand to include four sponsored videos that highlight the success and the food style, that show case three dishes from the menu of the Heroes, plus we are expanding  all the features in a whole new area, so watch this space! Mark Morris managing director of The Staff Canteen said “We are delighted that Essential Cuisine will partner us again in 2013, the Heroes feature has been a huge success and outside the featured chef is our most read feature thanks to their support in driving this. With the support of Essential Cuisine, who we have partnered almost since the beginning of The Staff Canteen, we can invest and drive the feature forward through video, and reach an even wider audience of chefs and I’m really excited about 2013, as we have some fabulous Heroes already lined up.” Neil Corlett, commercial director of Essential Cuisine said  “We are delighted to be sponsoring The Staff Canteen’s Hero of the Hotplate feature once again. It fits perfectly with our aim to support chefs in the heat of the kitchen. Working with The Staff Canteen has been an enjoyable and productive journey. It is a fabulous forum for chefs and we are proud to be a partner in the team.”
