Feast your eyes on this array of world class chef Knives from Chroma UK . We have three amazing prizes and would like to thank Chroma for both the Haiku and Porsche knives they have kindly supplied for this competition, these are outstanding knives in both terms of design and style and could be yours. The competition is open to all members of The Staff Canteen, it will be a none Kudos based competition and we require one answer to a simple question, the answer can be found on the Chroma web site.

1st prize

H-18 20cm Chef knife H-16 17cm Fluted Santoku Knife H-14 15cm Small Yobocho Knife H-06 20cm Chef's Knife H-02 12cm Utility Knife H-01 8cm Paring Knife H-12 7cm Curved Paring Knife This set of 7-Haiku Japanese Knives, HAIKU knives are manufactured in small Japanese knife factories out of high-grade modern steel. Borrowing from an ancient method, a bamboo peg ("mekugi") is inserted from the side into every HAIKU knife where the tang and handle are joined for added stability. Haiku professional chef's knives as used by Ben Spalding from Roganic in London and 4 Bocuse D'or past Winners.

Porsche worked alongside the famous Austrian chef Joerg Woerther to create a modern masterpiece, its ergonomic handle is just one of the reasons this knife has won countless awards. The handle of the Type 301 by F.A. Porsche is constructed of 18/10 stainless steel, and the blade is made of high-quality Japanese 301 steel. These knives are used by both  Alain Ducasse and Joel Robuchon
