dynamic duo Ravinder Bhogal and Nadeem Lalani Nanjuwany have announced a second restaurant, opening in 2026.
The new restaurant is set to open at V&A East Museum in London.
V&A East Museum is a new cultural destination located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford.
Areas of the East Bank have opened, the V&A East Storehouse is coming this May and the museum is opening in 2026.
About Ravinder
Ravinder Bhogal is a renowned British chef, food writer, restaurateur, journalist, and stylist.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, she grew up in London.
Ravinder is celebrated for her culinary work that spans flavours and traditions from the Far East, India & South Asia, the Middle East, East Africa, and Britain.
She champions the idea of immigrant cuisine, blending diverse influences into her dishes.
Ravinder opened her first restaurant, Jikoni, in Marylebone in September 2016.
Jikoni is known for its "no borders" approach to cooking, offering a unique and inclusive dining experience.
She has several cookbooks, including "Cook in Boots," which won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for the UK's Best First Cookbook, and "Jikoni: Proudly Inauthentic Recipes from an Immigrant Kitchen," which won the 2021 IACP Cookbook Award.
Ravinder has also made multiple television appearances, including hosting "Ravinder's Kitchen" on TLC. She has been recognised with several awards, such as the Asian Women of Achievement Award in Media in 2013.
About Nadeem
Nadeem Lalani Nanjuwany is a renowned chef and restaurateur, known for his collaboration with Ravinder at Jikoni.
In addition to his work in the culinary world, Nadeem has also co-founded Wildpress, a brand that works with sustainable orchards to create small bold blends of apple juice.
