S. Pellegrino brings taste of Italy to the Thames with new London pop-up

The Staff Canteen
Michelin-starred chefs Phil Howard (The Square) and Theo Randall (Theo Randall at the Intercontinental) have teamed up with drinks giants S. Pellegrino to bring a taste of the Mediterranean to the banks of the River Thames in London, at the Live In Italian, Live From London pop-up restaurant.20150604KSH058 This Friday and Saturday, 3rd-4th July, Phil and Theo will host a pair of evening events – Phil on the Friday and Theo on the Saturday. They’ll each be giving live demonstrations of their work live in front of diners as they prepare a bespoke three-course menu, with the finest in gourmet Italian food and wine using the best ingredients that Britain has to offer. Guests will have the chance to grill the pair about their burning culinary questions, while they cook their food right before their very eyes. For those who want to take things a little slower, Chris Denney (head chef at Covent Garden’s Four To Eight) will be around on both days for a more laid-back service earlier in the day. An exclusive lunchtime menu of Italian style tapas fused with organic British ingredients is promised, all to be enjoyed within a convivial Italian-designed alfresco space on the banks of London’s famous river. Chris will also be demonstrating his culinary talents on-stage with two of the brightest young talents in British cuisine, Mark Moriarty and Jamie Colelman, winner and runner-up respectively in this year’s S. Pellegrino UK & Ireland Young Chef of the Year award. 20150604KSH112Tickets to the evening events can be purchased from www.billetto.co.uk/live-in-italian-live-from-london-phil-howard (Friday 3rd July service) or www.billetto.co.uk/live-in-italian-live-from-london-theo-randall (Saturday 4th July service) for £60 per person and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
