Six Michelin starred chefs will prepare a three course lunch for Hospitality Action’s seventh annual polo day at Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire on Sunday, September 11, 2016.

The day will include a three-course lunch prepared by six award-winning South West chefs who have six Michelin-stars between them including Michael Bedford of The Calcot Collection, Martin Burge of Whatley Manor, Josh Eggleton of The Pony & Trap, Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park, Sam Moody of The Bath Priory and Richard Picard-Edwards of Lords of the Manor. The team of professionals will be supported by service professionals from City of Bath College, The Abbey Hotel and The Pig near Bath amongst others.

Event sponsor Simon Numphud FIH, Director of Sales at of PSL The Food Professional said: “We are delighted to support the Hospitality Action Polo Day this year. Everyone involved is pulling together to make this the best event yet! From the delicious food prepared by some of the industry’s top names, right through to the polo itself and the final of the Sidebottom Cup, it is going to be great fun for a great cause.”

The event will begin with a Taittinger Champagne and canapé reception on the lawns of the prestigious Beaufort Polo Club, before the three-course lunch is prepared. Grandstand seats will be reserved for guests to watch the final of the final of the Sidebottom Cup prior to ending the day with an afternoon cream tea prepared by The Bertinet Kitchen.

Calcot Hotels Executive Chairman Richard Ball said: “I am lucky enough to have been involved in the Hospitality Action Polo Day since day one. Over the years the event has grown in popularity and this year the event sold out in record time. The day is a real team effort and the amount of support we receive enables the event to raise as much as possible for those in crisis. Last year saw over £50,000 raised for Hospitality Action and we all want to top this in 2016.”
