Bad Boy Pizza Society (BBPS) is an award-winning dynamic London-based pizzeria known for its bold flavours and inventive approach to pizza-making.
Originating from the University of Southampton, BBPS has grown into a celebrated name in the UK's pizza scene.
BBPS serves London destinations such as Covent Garden, London Bridge and Tulse Hill.
The popular franchise was awarded National Pizza of the Year in 2022 for its vodka pepperoni square pizza and again in 2024 for the sausage party New York style round pizza.
Now, the guys behind the franchise are set to open their first ever brick and mortar restaurant in London, with a little help from fans.

A post on social media read: “The rumours are true. After years of searching, we’ve finally found a home for our first ever brick & mortar pizzeria.
“No lie - it’s been a LONG two years. We’ve been very picky. There were setbacks, legal hoops, licensing dramas… you name it. But we kept pushing. And now we’re finally in a place where we can say: we’ve got a home. Bethnal Green, we’re coming for you this summer (hopefully).
“There’s still loads to do to turn it into the dream pizzeria we’ve always imagined. The shop is still a complete white box. We’ve got to get extraction in, relocate toilets, get the ceiling to fire standards, build stud walls, upholster seating, build a nice tile counter, and the list goes on. We’re doing pretty much all of this ourselves.
“Some of you know this already - but for those who don’t, we’ve never taken outside investment. Never sold a chunk of the business. We’ve paid ourselves (basically) nothing while building this thing up from pop-ups and residencies, saving every spare penny to one day open a shop of our own.

“And ideally, we want to keep it that way. No big loans. No giving away ownership. So - we’re asking for a little help from our community.
“We’ve just launched a Kickstarter to raise a bit of cash upfront by pre-selling some super cool Bad Boy Pizza rewards. We’re talking merch, meals, parties, lamps? Rings? A trip to New York? It’s all to help with cash flow while we sort the ceiling, kitchen fit-out, extraction, and the million other things needed to get the doors open.
“This is the biggest step we’ve taken since we started Bad Boy. And honestly - we’re so proud. We finally get to create a space that’s 100% ours. Our tunes. Our drinks. Our menu. Our vibe. A proper pizza social club.
“We totally get that we’re not a charity. There’s a lot of important stuff out there that needs support. But if you’ve ever thought about swinging by for a slice, grabbing a tee, or just showing love - now’s the perfect time. Pre-order through our Kickstarter, and help us bring this thing to life.”
In the fundraiser, the owners explained: “It's a simple matter of cash-flow. Without external investment, we've got a tonne of costs, and we want to pre-sell some exciting rewards to get us over the line. This past year has been tougher than expected – legal costs, agency fees, and some serious works that needs doing to make our dream pizzeria a reality. Everything has been going up in price, including ingredients, staff wages, NI contributions etc. But we’re not giving up. We’ve come too far, and now, we need you to help us take Bad Boy Pizza Society to the next level.
“We need a permanent home – a brick-and-mortar Bad Boy Pizzeria where we can serve you fresh, hot slices and full pies in a proper restaurant setting. A place where we can bring our pizza dreams to life, serve late night drinks, and control the entire vibe.”
