The Burnt Chef Project Launches wellness series ‘Roots & Renewal’
The Burnt Chef Project has unveiled an exciting new event series, ‘Roots and Renewal,’ designed to reconnect individuals with nature, wellness, and sustainability.
In collaboration with Totally Wild UK, the immersive sessions will take place across the country, offering a unique experience that blends ethical foraging, communal cooking, and mental wellbeing.
Attendees will gain expert insights into ethical foraging, rediscovering traditional foraging techniques while preparing and enjoying a communal meal with their gathered ingredients.
The Burnt Chef Project will also host dedicated wellness sessions at each event, reinforcing the importance of mental resilience and wellbeing within the hospitality industry.
Founder Kris Hall said: "At The Burnt Chef Project, we are always looking for new ways to support mental wellbeing in the hospitality industry, and 'Roots & Renewal' is a perfect reflection
of that mission. By immersing ourselves in nature, learning the art of ethical foraging, and coming together to cook and connect, we can take a step back from the pressures of daily life and focus on balance and resilience.
“These events offer a unique opportunity for individuals to not only reconnect with the land but also with themselves and like-minded people. We’re excited to bring this experience to life across the UK and continue breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health in our industry."
