Over 400 people responded to a recent survey by The Staff Canteen about which publications and websites are their go-to for hospitality industry news, features and information.

We had responses from students to Michelin star chefs, food and beverage managers, unit managers and lecturers. They all took 10 minutes from their busy schedule to answer a range of questions that highlighted that The Staff Canteen is to chefs what MumsNet is to parents. 

The survey revealed that more chefs visit the The Staff Canteen daily than all our competitors combined.

Nearly seven out of ten of our chef audience are key decision makers with purchasing power across a range of products and services from crockery to wine, from back to front of house. 

Our audience has widened with increases in the casual dining, health care and education sectors.

The most popular areas of the site remain as features, news and recipes. More people now view us on a smartphone or tablet than on a desktop with 25% of our audience now engaging with us on Chef +  our single biggest growth area with over 15,000 downloads since its launch in May this year.
