The Staff Canteen Live 2017 to make debut at ScotHot

The Staff Canteen

It’s a first! We are taking The Staff Canteen Live 2017 to Scotland and we're excited to announce MasterChef: The Professionals 2016 winner Gary Maclean completes the line-up.

In March we are bringing an awesome line-up of chefs to ScotHot at the SECC Glasgow where they will be doing live demos, question and answer sessions plus dishing out some food samples – we hope!

Visitors to the show will be able to get up close to some of the biggest names in the UK’s culinary industry including Geoff Smeddle from The Peat Inn; patissier and chocolatier William Curley; Adam Handling, chef patron of The Frog E1 and Ruth Hinks from Cocoa Black, and of course MasterChef: The Professionals champion Gary Maclean.

Mark Morris, MD of The Staff Canteen said: “The Staff Canteen has always set out to cover and celebrate chefs from across the UK and beyond. The opportunity to take The Staff Canteen Live to Scotland, where I believe some of the UK's finest chefs live and work, was simply a no brainer for us. The quality of produce on offer and those great chefs, make The Staff Canteen Live at Scothot something I’m really excited about. Come and say hello.”

Toby Wand, Managing Director of Fresh Montgomery, said: “The appetite for ScotHot has grown consistently year on year, so as Scotland’s leading trade show for the food, drink and hospitality sector, we are thrilled to be able to offer visitors an up, close and personal experience with some of the UK’s top chefs at The Staff Canteen Live. With a wide variety of exhibitors, stages, competitions and awards taking place, if you are a business wanting to network, develop or gain further insight into this sector, ScotHot is the place to be.”

ScotHot is Scotland’s biggest food, drink, hospitality and tourism trade show. Over the two days, key buyers and decision makers from top hospitality and catering establishments network with a wide variety of suppliers from all areas of the hospitality, tourism and catering industries.
