Nigel HaworthFive British chefs will be collaborating on the menu for Action Against Hunger UK’s Global Gastronomy evening in October. Le Pont de la Tour’s executive chef Tom Cook will be teaming up with the award-winning and Michelin-starred chefs Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry, Bruno Loubet of The Grain Store, Aiden Byrne of Manchester House, Robert Ortiz of Lima London and Nigel Haworth of Northcote. “It’s great to host a dinner in aid of such a worthy cause, and to see some of the industries finest work together to support it,” said executive chef Tom, who will be catering the canapé reception and overseeing the kitchen. Each chef will be preparing one course of the gourmet evening, which will be taking place at London’s La Pont de la Tour riverside restaurant on 29th October. All proceeds will go towards supporting Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work in more than 40
countries worldwide. Global Gastronomy David Loewi, MD of D&D London, the group who own La Pont de la Tour, said: “We are delighted that Le Pont de la Tour has the opportunity to host such a unique and gastronomic evening, with our own Tom Cook and Anna Hansen in the kitchen.” He added - “We thoroughly support the work of Action Against Hunger and look forward to what is sure to be a very successful and memorable evening. Chef Bruno Loubet is honoured to be invited, and said: “Action Against Hunger does the important job of reminding us, in the hospitality industry, that the small steps we take will mean big things to tens of thousands of disadvantaged people around the world.” Tickets for the dinner cost £150 per person, with tables of eight and ten available. We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
