Daniel is a chef-patron based in Southampton, best known for leading Restaurant AO, where he brings together a passion for local produce, flavour and fine dining. Born and raised in Southampton, Daniel was inspired by his father, Simon Rogan of L’Enclume, and has honed his skills with an eye for detail
in some of the UK’s top kitchens. At AO, named after the initials of his two children, he creates seasonally driven tasting menus deeply rooted in the Hampshire region. Daniel is committed to elevating Southampton’s dining scene—making it a place where culinary excellence meets warmth and authenticity.
