Top recipe pick of the month

Paul Foster

The most popular recipe this month was British strawberries, elderflower, aerated white chocolate, strawberry sorbet by Paul Foster, taken from his new cookbook, Salt. This colourful dessert also features a fermented strawberry puree, but it's worth waiting until strawberry season and using fresh British ones!

The most popular story on The Staff Canteen this month was the release of Harden's Best UK Restaurants 2019. Harden's 28th annual poll 50,000 reviews from 8,000 diners and York was named the UK's new foodie hotspot.

Apart from the obvious turkey and Brussels sprouts, there's some surprising seasonal produce this month too... like pineapples! Make sure you upload your seasonal recipes and images to the Chef+ app, and we'll share the best ones on our social media channels.
