access to world class mentors, showcase your passion,
this is your opportunity!

MasterChef: The Professionals is back for its 15th series.
Judges Monica Galetti, Marcus Wareing and Gregg Wallace are looking to discover exciting new talent, new
food, and ultimately a chef that can become the next MasterChef champion!

As one of the country’s premier cooking competitions, it offers a unique opportunity for professional chefs
to showcase their culinary skills and creative talents to the judges and the audience, whilst competing
against some of the best emerging chefs in the industry.

MasterChef the Professionals has been a platform for chefs gaining wider visibility; audiences have been
introduced to some of the catering industry’s exciting talent. Dan Lee (2021), Louisa Ellis (2017), Gary
Maclean (2016), Santosh Shah (2020), William Chilila (2018), Adam Handling (2013), Elly Wentworth
(2016), Stuart Deeley (2019), and Marianne Lumb (2009) to name a few.

The competition welcomes applications from chefs with a range of culinary backgrounds and experiences
and celebrates the diversity of people and food culture found all over the UK.

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
