Popaball's Blueberry, Lemon and Basil Gin & Tonic

A fun and funky twist on a classic Gin & Tonic using Popaball's flavoured bursting bubbles and shimmer.

Ingredients

  • 100ml gin
  • 300ml tonic
  • 50ml lemon juice
  • 16 blueberries, muddled + a few more for garnish
  • 8 medium basil leaves
  • 6 lemon slices
  • Popaball Blueberry and Lemon flavoured bursting bubbles for gin
  • Popaball Blue Pearl Shimmer for Gin with blueberry flavour

Method

1. Chill the drinking glasses for a 15 – 30 minutes.
2. Add ice to two glasses along with whole blueberries, lemon slices, basil and Popaball Blueberry and lemon flavoured bubbles for gin.
3. Put 16 blueberries into a cocktail shaker with lemon juice and gin and muddle until combined.
4. Strain the mixture into glasses until ¼ full and top up with tonic.
5. Slowly sprinkle 1/3rd tsp of Popaball drink shimmer into each glass, watch your drink bubble up, then stir and watch it clear to reveal a blue pearl shimmer.
6. Enjoy!
