Chinese New Year Celebrations at Golden Dragon

Celebrate the Year of Pig with a deliciously authentic Chinese New Year experience at Golden Dragon Restaurant.

Guest will be treated to a traditional Lion Dance performance on Saturday 2 February 2019 at 8pm. Seen as a symbol of power and wisdom the Lion Dance performances are said to bring good fortune and chase away evil spirits.

Two menus have been specially curated for the occasion. Menu A consists of appetizing dishes including Golden Sand Lobster, Arrowhead Mushroom, Steamed Sea Bass and Golden Suckling Pig.

Menu B includes Siu Mai with Dried Oyster & Black Moss, Deep Fried Prawn Balls with Pumpkin Sauce and Pan Fried Traditional Sweet Paste.

Chinese New Year will be taking place on Tuesday 5 February 2019.

Golden Dragon is famed for its duck which it offers in a variety of ways including the traditional Roast Peking Duck and Aromatic Crispy Duck. The sleek restaurant boasts a large BBQ area which is fired up each morning so that chefs can expertly cook everything on site. Guests can rest assured that all the dishes are prepared fresh that day by skilled Cantonese chefs with over 30 years of experience.

Golden Dragon serves an extensive wine list, plus a fine wine section as well as a vast tea menu with an impressive range of teas, which are stored in a traditional Chinese tea chest behind the bar.
