We're delighted to announce that the 5th annual thefoodpeople trends event will be hosted by Tom Kerridge and the team at Lush, at the Royal Horticultural Halls Westminster, on Tuesday 13th November 2018.

Here's what happened at the 2017 trends event…


For our 2018 event we've invited 11 thought provoking speakers to inspire you and to bring the trends to life. Alongside the discussion and talks taking place, we will also stir your senses and inspire you with a 'trend-led' bowl food lunch prepared and cooked by Tom Kerridge and the team at Lush Hospitality.
Amongst the speakers already announced, we will host:


  • Charles Banks – Co Founder thefoodpeople - Charles will bring to life the 2019-2020 trends framework and exploring the key change points for the next 2 years.

  • Elizabeth Cherry Ph.D - Associate Professor of Sociology Manhattanville College NY - Elizabeth will be exploring the social drivers and motivations behind the 'new vegan movement'.

  • Alessandro Finetto - Snr Director, Global Consumer Design, Whirlpool - Alessandro will be using his research and experience across the Whirlpool Group to give us a glimpse into the kitchen of the future.

  • Dominic Cools-Lartigue – founder of Street Feast, a business that has single handedly changed London's food scene, we'll explore Street Food now and into the Future
