Mariatu "Maria" Kargbo has been appointed as Head Pastry Chef at The Arch London, a luxurious five-star boutique hotel in Marylebone.
Maria has a wealth of experience having previously worked at prestigious five-star hotels such as The Berkeley Hotel, The Lanesborough Hotel and The Dorchester Hotel.
During her 15 years of working as a chef, Maria’s roles also encompassed The Caledonian Club on Halkin Street and The Bloomsbury Hotel.
In her new position as Head Pastry Chef at The Arch London, Maria will be responsible for all the desserts within the hotel, as well as the Afternoon Tea which is served daily in the Martini Library from 11.30am to 6pm, priced at £31.95 or £41.50 with a glass of Champagne.
