Champagne Lanson introduces Le Rosé Création 67

Following the successful transition of Champagne Lanson’s Brut NV to be re-named as Le Black Création in 2023, Maison Lanson announces that its iconic rosé will follow suit, now adopting the name Le Rosé Création, and launching with elaboration 67 – the 67th blend of this Champagne.

Every year, a new interpretation of Lanson Rosé is made by Cellar Master, Hervé Dantan - recreating a singular blend based on precise grape selection, the exclusive use of rosé reserve wines, and a subtle proportion of red wines from Champagne which give Le Rosé Création its characteristic delicate salmon-pink colour.

The latest blend, Le Rosé Création 67, embodies the elegance and freshness of the Lanson style with delicate fruit notes. Harvested in 2019, a year of record high temperatures, the cool night-time temperatures during the ripening phase for the grapes helped preserve their natural acidity. As are all Lanson wines, it is famously made without malolactic fermentation and consists of a blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 14% Meunier, exclusively from Grand and Premier Crus and aged for more than three years in Lanson’s cellars before release.

Now available in the UK on The Finest Bubble and rolling out to Majestic in June, this new interpretation gives consumers total transparency regarding the unique blend of each Création, assigned with a number based upon its base vintage.

Robert Rand, Managing Director of Champagne Lanson UK says: “The new concept for our Rosé Champagne has been introduced following a successful relaunch of Le Black Création last year. Now more than ever, we are committed to total transparency with our consumers, and by being more precise with our labelling and style, we can better communicate key factors such as vintage conditions, base harvest, Cru selection and reserve wines.
This commitment showcases the hard work and savoir-faire that is required to make Champagne in the signature Lanson style – fresh, full of complexity and vitality.”

The new name is also joined by an elegant new bottle shape and a QR
code that can be scanned to reveal the exact details of each blend.
