Well its finally June already!Warmer weather and beautiful fish coming through our local markets.
Plymouth Market had a really good mixture of fish today such as mackerel,skate wings, sardines,hand line cod,hand line pollock.We also have prime fish such as turbots,john dory,dover soles and some wild bass all great quality.
Looe market  we try and buy from everyday as there is a great selection of fish lemon soles,sardines,scallops 1/2 shelled,monk fish tails and some red mullets.When the weather is good so is the fish!!
Newlyn Market was dayboat turbots and some hand line mackerel.
Shellfish is coming through now nicely, Local lobsters have dropped in price,jumbo cock crabs,diver caught scallops,cockles,clams,razor clams,fowey oysters ,rock oysters and deep sea mussels from St Austell bay exclusively only to us!
