The Hospitality Show Set to Be The Place to Do Business in 2013

The three day event, organised by multi-award winning Fresh Montgomery, returns bigger, better and more business-focused than ever before, bringing together over 350 exhibitors from the UK and abroad to create a unique trading platform showcasing the cutting edge in food & drink, catering equipment, interiors, exteriors & tableware, and technology, alongside world class culinary competition Salon Culinaire.

The Hospitality Show 2013 will also launch a host of new initiatives whilst welcoming back familiar favourites. Delivering workable, real world solutions for every operation, the show will be offering money-can’t-buy advice from a team of specially selected, high profile Business Mentors, who will share their knowledge in a series of panel sessions on the new Business Briefing Stage, and visitors will get the chance to book free 30 minute one-to-one sessions with the Business Mentor of their choice.

New for 2013 is the introduction of the Design Inspiration Stage – a dedicated forum where thought leaders from the world of cutting-edge design will present the latest and most up-to-date trends in the sector.

Technology will also play a prominent role as the HOSPA Technology Hub hosts technology Business Mentors, while a dedicated lounge area – the ideal place for networking – will be available for those who want a place to talk serious business.

Toby Wand, Managing Director at Fresh Montgomery comments: “The Hospitality Show focuses on the business of hospitality. Each element of the show will give visitors at least one good idea to take back to their business, whether it’s finding a new product to solve a problem, meeting a valuable new contact, or learning some valuable insight direct from a Business Mentor. With a new look, new halls, and a renewed focus The Hospitality Show will be the place to do business, source new product innovations and network with likeminded business professionals in 2013.”

Salon Culinaire

World class culinary competition Salon Culinaire also returns with new Live Theatre classes including Classical Fish Dish sponsored by Association Culinaire Francaise, Major International Soup & Sauce Challenge, Nestle Toque d’Or 2013 Heats and a Seasonal Menu Masterclass in association with Rational.

Salon Culinaire also incorporates fine dining restaurant La Parade de Chefs, which this year takes “Best of the Best” as its theme, inviting winning teams from the last three years to cook for diners on each day of the show: House of Commons (Monday), Elior (Tuesday) and Compass Group (Wednesday). The breathtaking exhibits of Salon Display also feature, where the nation’s best competitors will do battle for the judges’ attention with works of art in fat, sugar, and marzipan.

As with all Fresh Montgomery shows – The Hospitality Show 2013 will be run to the Sustainable Event Management Standard ISO 20121. Every operational element must comply within the criteria as laid down by the standard.
