As Nisbets Live returned for its fifth year, over 150 supplier brands and record breaking visitor numbers came together at the National Catering Equipment Centre (NCEC) to share the latest and greatest products in catering equipment. The show attracted both local and national operators with exclusive product launches, product demonstrations, cooking demonstrations in the Digital Kitchen and a chance to speak to some of the industry’s biggest brands.
As part of this year’s theme of ‘supporting the hospitality industry’, Nisbets Live also saw the return of Catering for Growth, a series of stands dedicated to helping businesses grow. Featuring financial advice from HSBC advisors and energy-saving insights from Dr Samantha Mudie, visitors could find all the tips and tricks required to elevate their business. Alongside this were exclusive show discounts, as well as an opportunity to speak directly with experienced Nisbets advisors about product recommendations and Nisbets’ annual subscription, Nisbets Rewards Plus.
One highlight of Nisbets Live was the annual Innovation Challenge in which Lincat’s Commercial Air Fryer took the top spot. Voted for by Nisbets Live attendees, this air fryer claimed the prize thanks to its oil free operation which, with the help of a catalytic converter to remove airborne fats, cooks healthier, yet equally delicious food. Easy to use, quick to clean and built to last, this air fryer was praised as the next generation of commercial air frying.
The Innovation Challenge wasn’t the only prize up for grabs, and Lincat once again took first place in the annual Sustainability Award, which recognises the most pioneering, energy-saving products. Here, the recently advanced Opus 800 Ignite Electric Chargrill was victorious and judges applauded its improved energy efficiency, sustainable packaging and low carbon production.
Sustainability has always been a priority for Nisbets, and its 2026 show was the most eco-conscious to date.
Throughout the two days, the NCEC was powered entirely by a sustainable energy tariff, all waste from the event was recycled or processed in other ways to keep it out of landfill and a tree was planted for each visitor in attendance.
Mark Conron, Group Head of Customer Communications, Nisbets UK reflected on Nisbets Live 2026:
“With the ongoing pressures facing the industry, we knew that this show had to be bigger and better than ever, and we definitely succeeded. Driven by the theme of ‘supporting the hospitality industry’, we ran a series of insightful product demonstrations, shared profit-driving recipes in the Digital Kitchen and, most importantly, gave operators and suppliers an opportunity to come together to celebrate the most innovative product launches. All of this was achieved whilst minimising the show’s environmental impact, which we are immensely proud of. Following this year’s success, I can’t wait to see what Nisbets Live 2027 brings!”
