Tour the organic gardens at Highgrove with Hospitality Action

Back by popular demand, industry charity Hospitality Action will once again be hosting a spring tour of the gardens at Highgrove on Wednesday 23rd April, to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

Hospitality Action, the industry’s benevolent charity for more than 175 years, provide a lifeline for current and former hospitality industry workers who find themselves in a crisis, both at work and in their personal lives.

Despite the wet winter, the mark of spring is finally showing through and there will be much to see on the tour as temperatures begin to rise steadily. The structure and form of the garden is sharp, with the flower beds tidy and mulched ready for new growth. The spring rush is on and come rain or sunshine, the garden is truly a season of delights!

Prior to the tour, guests will enjoy a Champagne reception, followed by a fabulous three-course lunch at the beautiful four-star Calcot Manor. Guests will also have the chance to purchase a wide variety of specially selected products at the Highgrove shop, before rounding off the day with delicious tea and cake back at Calcot Manor.

Last year’s event was a roaring success, with the weather glorious and the charity raising more than £11,000 through the day’s auction, raffle prizes and ticket sales. Penny Moore, CEO of Hospitality Action, says: “The interest our tour of Highgrove generates never ceases to amaze me; the garden always has something new and exquisite to offer and is a beautiful sight to behold. It really is a wonderful outing and a chance to explore one of the most inventive gardens of the 21st century.”

Tickets are priced at £95 and include coach transfers between Calcot Manor and Highgrove. Early booking is recommended, as places are limited at this sell-out event. Contact Giuliana on 020 3004 5504 / [email protected]
